Clicker Training Basics: Obedience and Fun!
Have you ever seen people use those little clickers and wondered
how in the world a dog could learn this way? Clicker training
offers a fun and interesting alternative to "traditional" training
methods. This class will teach individuals new to clicker training
basic dog training exercises and to help students understand how
dogs learn. The goal will be to give students the information
and skills they need in order to train well-mannered, well-behaved
pets. Dogs will be taught to pay attention to the handler, to
sit, down, stay, come and heel. The class will also include learning
2 tricks and a game! This class is appropriate for puppies as
well as for older dogs. A clicker is included in the price of
the class. Dogs come the first night of class.

NEW Crate Magic
Registration will close Friday March 26
Who would ever believe that with a simple tool like a crate you
could solve your biggest issues with your dog? Based on Susan
Garrett’s
DVD Crate Games, you will work on improving your dog’s training
behaviors. You and your dog will work on focus, motivation and self
control. Improving recalls, speed and distance skills for obedience
and agility. You will need a crate large enough for dog to sit in,
leash, a low value treat like dry dog food and the highest value treat
you can find for your dog. Age is not a factor, BUT Practice is required!
