Letter to members about making a donation to CCDTC during Coronavirus time of need:
This letter is to let you know that several members requested and the Board recently approved the creation of a new separate account to allow donations to CCDTC for operating expenses in time of need.
Clermont County Dog Training Club is a "not for profit" corporation, which means, as of now, we are not eligible for some of the grants, loans or other "stimulus" items that the government has made available.

Clermont County Dog Training Club has suffered a substantial financial loss due to the state mandated shutdowns which has resulted in the cancellation of classes, trials and events that CCDTC depends on for it's financial survival.
The club is closed, but the bills still need to be paid. Rent, water, electricity, trash, phone, etc, are still due each month. We have tried to cut back at the club in any way we logistically could by cancelling the weekly cleaning and the recycling portion of our Rumpke account, but we can't cancel all of the utilities.
Bill Bates (Treasurer) talked to the Don Kellerman (building owner) about reducing our rent temporarily. Obviously they are under lots of financial obligations as well, but they were willing to work with us and let us pay a reduced rent of $3500 each month (regardless of the clubs open or closed status) for the building for awhile and the club will pay back the deferred amounts later in the year or over a specified period of time depending on how things go this year.
Monthly Bills that still have to paid:
Many may not know how much it normally costs each month to keep the doors open at Clermont County Dog Training Club.
CCDTC pays about $8300 a month for rent and utilities.
That varies some with how much the HVAC units are needed.
Rent: $5500
Electricity: $1500
Garbage: $120
Water/Sewage: $35.00
Phone: $50
Internet: $175
Cleaning: $637
Crating Trailer: $350
Financial Losses from Events/Classes (as of 5-12-20)
Below is a list of the financial losses during this time that have incurred so far from their cancellations.
Trial/event cancellations are not exact since they were cancelled before closing deadlines and were still taking entries:
Classes: $6400 approx (grows approx. $3200 each month)
April CPE Trial: $4250*
(2) Nosework trials: $16,980*
*Event Checks from participants that were shredded/returned.
At this time we're hoping that classes and events can start up again this summer, but we have no way of knowing when this will occur just yet.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. We hope you consider to make a donation. If you have any questions or need further information please feel free to contact me.
