Conformation Regular Drop-In
(for dogs 3 months and older) No Preregistration Required “Drop-in” Classes for those planning to show in the Conformation Show Ring and for youth doing Junior Showmanship and are for purebred dogs only. Dogs three months or older are welcome. This Class concentrates on Handling, Showmanship, and Ring Procedure. Registration is not required for these classes; however, up-to-date shot records must be presented to the instructor before bringing your dog into the facility. Please, no bitches in season. At the current time, these classes are offered most Tuesday evenings. THE SCHEDULE BELOW NOW SHOWS ONLY THE SKIP DATES EACH MONTH. Important note: These classes are not obedience classes. Single class fee for non-club members payable each time: $5 Tuesday classes at 8pm.

7 weeks - class size limit 8 students. This is a 7 week class (not a Drop In). The goal in this Conformation Class is to instruct skills to handlers and dogs required to enter your dog in a breed show. Emphasis is placed on learning how to present your dog to a judge and handling skills. All work is done on a show lead. Newbies, Juniors, 4-Hers (or those who need polish time) can join this class to learn how to handle a dog for showmanship in 4H, AKC, and UKC. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: Classes consist of one 45 minute session per week for 3, 4 or 7 weeks. Pre-Registration and payment for a class is required with exception of Drop-In Conformation Classes. Register early as classes fill quickly! Due to USPS delivery delays as well as frequency registrars pick up mail, we STRONGLY suggest using PayPal to register for classes. Registration is done by first received. Receipt of payment does NOT guarantee a slot in the class. You will be notified regarding registration status. If the class is filled before the registrar receives your registration, you will be refunded in full. We do not create wait lists. Registering for a "future class" that is not on the schedule will result in a full refund. Additions to the class scheduled are posted on Fridays. Some classes now have pre-requisites. CCDTC does not require any vaccination other than those required by Clermont County (Rabies) and those you and your vet feel are needed for good health.
