During class sessions any dog who is not in the ring with his handler and/or the instructor must be in a crate. The “next dog up” may be out of crate, but out of “dog leaving ring” flow
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
- Classes consist of one 45 minute session per week for 3, 4 or 7 weeks.
- Pre-Registration and payment for a class is required with exception of Drop-In Conformation Classes.
- It is first come first registered. Register early as classes fill quickly! Due to USPS delivery delays as well as frequency registrars pick up mail, we STRONGLY suggest using PayPal to register for classes. Registration is done by first received.
- Receipt of payment does NOT guarantee a slot in the class.
- You will be notified regarding registration status. If the class is filled before the registrar receives your registration, you will be refunded in full. Check your spam/Junk folders as some email providers put our emails in those folders.
- We do not create wait lists. Registering for a "future class" that is not on the schedule will result in a full refund.
- Additions to the class schedules are posted on Fridays.
- Some classes now have pre-requisites. Any questions, request for exemption (training elsewhere, etc.), please contact the Training Director at td.ccdtc@gmail.com

- 7 Week Classes for Non-members: $120
- 3 - 4 Week Classes for Nonmembers: $70
- Additional 7 Week classes (for same dog) in the same calendar year: $105
- First class for rescue dog within 6 months of adoption: $100 (Proof of adoption required with registration form or first day of class.)

Preparing Your Dog for Agility
7 week session. Maximum 7, minimum 3 students.

When at the club (and not training or walking outside) all dogs are to be kept either in their car (A/C running in hot weather) or in a crate inside the building. Crates are provided or bring your own. Prior to this class, crated dogs must be willing to go into the crate and remain there without causing a disturbance. Description / Goals:
This class will help you build a strong relationship with your dog with fun activities that encourage him/her to offer behavior expected of agility dogs before they can safely be introduced to agility obstacles.
Handlers will learn to effectively use a leash and provide positive reinforcement to their dog’s behavior.
While on a leash, dogs will learn to:
(1) Walk without serious jumping or pulling
(2) Stay / Come (Recall) to handler
(3) Pay attention to (focus on) the handler in a busy atmosphere
(4) Follow the handler as s/he changes direction while walking
(5) Walk on, over, through, or around various types of scaled-down beginner agility equipment
(6) Have a good time without showing fear or any aggression around other people or dogs.

Dogs must be able to perform all agility equipment.
